Mayon Volcano also known as Mount Mayon is one of the best tourist destinations located in Albay, Luzon. It is an active stratovolcano known for its perfect cone shape. This mountain is considered as the most photogenic mountain in the Philippines. It was declared a national park on July 20, 1938, and was reclassified a Natural Park and renamed as the Mayon Volcano Natural Park in 2000.
